ZenXit® is a patented three-dimensional material with an open network of fibers and air channels. Unlike traditional polyurethane foam, it is breathable, pressure-relieving, and provides an ergonomic, durable, and hygienic solution for seat and back support.
ZenXit® is made from 100% copolyester and can be recycled within circular systems – a future-proof choice for both health and the environment. It offers durability comparable to traditional foam and spring systems but with superior body support.
Malmstolen has worked with ZenXit® for over 15 years. The material forms the backrest in models such as Active R3, Active H5, Focus R4, and R7, replacing PU foam and becoming an integrated part of the construction. The result is a backrest that provides pressure relief, ventilation, and long-lasting comfort.
